Joshua 4-24
[God] did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the LORD is powerful and so that you might always fear the LORD your God.
—Joshua 4:24
The Lord brought the Israelites through the Jordan River to fulfill his promise to them. He was doing this for the israelites to reverence Him and for the enemies of His people to fear Him.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to always treat you with the respect and reverence you deserve.Forgive me for the times I have not given you reverence as you deserve.Help me to always honor your name .In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
